Kick off your shoes for charity! April 22nd and 23rd, wear new or gently used shoes to any Newbreak service and plan to leave them behind. Leave barefoot and Newbreak Church will then donate the shoes to various charities in San Diego. These donations will allow each organization to give shoes directly to their clients, helping them get "back on their feet." Kids are invited to join in the fun. Kids shoes will be given to the Polinsky Children's Center. Other charities include San Diego Rescue Mission and the East County Community Health Fair. Will you dare to go bare?
* I forgot to bring shoes for services on April 22nd and 23rd, can I still donate shoes?
Yes, contact Rachel Stewart at email@example.com.
* Can I bring more than one pair of shoes?
Yes! Feel free to wear a pair and bring a pair. There's no limit to the quantity of shoes we'll accept.
* What types of shoes are needed?
New shoes are preferred over used shoes. The biggest need for shoes is comfortable, casual, tennis shoes. Men's, women's and children's shoes are needed.
* How much should I spend on a new pair of shoes?
We encourage you to shop the sales. We would recommend not spending more than $40 for a pair of shoes.
*If I am unable to visit a Newbreak Campus, may I still participate?
Yes. Arrangements can be made with our Outreach team - email firstname.lastname@example.org
